The short answer
An AI implementation is the route from choosing a process to daily use: measuring what the work costs today, designing the workflow, building it, testing on real cases, training the team and handing over. At Tamboer AI one process costs 1,500 euro excluding VAT and is in place in ten working days; your whole business on AI costs 4,500 euro and is in place in three weeks. You start with a free AI plan.
What an AI implementation project costs: three options
Start with one process or choose an AI Operating System. Analysis, building, testing and training are included in the paid option. A separate audit beforehand is not required.
| Option | What you receive | Price and timing |
|---|---|---|
| Free AI plan | An AI plan for your whole business, three tailored examples and a demonstration | Free |
| One process with AI | One bounded workflow, tested on your examples, with training and handover | 1,500 euro, ten working days |
| AI Operating System | A connected way of working across your business, with sources, AI work instructions and agreed workflows | 4,500 euro, three weeks |
The 1,500 euro is fully credited if you move on to the AI Operating System within 30 days. You pay half at the start and half at delivery. You pay software and model usage to the supplier directly; you see the cost up front. Optional support is itemised separately in the proposal. See the scope, terms and pricing.
What you supply and what I deliver
You appoint a process owner, provide representative examples and exceptions, and arrange the necessary access with your administrator. We first measure volume, handling time and corrections to establish the problem the workflow must solve.
I deliver the working workflow, its sources and decision rules, instructions for your team and a manual fallback. We agree who handles errors and who may make changes. Support after handover is optional at 125 euro per hour, with a ceiling agreed beforehand.
When is the implementation ready?
Before building, we agree which cases the workflow must handle and when it must stop. At handover, the process owner runs through that test set: an ordinary enquiry, a missing field, an ambiguous match and an unavailable connection. You also check that messages or bookings only proceed after approval. Open issues are fixed and retested before you accept the agreed scope.
How long an AI implementation takes
Ten working days for one process and three weeks for the whole AI Operating System, counted from the agreed start and receipt of the required information. Those three weeks are roughly one week of design and build, one week of testing on real cases from your own archive, and one week running alongside the team that will use it. Only one thing stretches that schedule: supplying examples and access. That almost always takes longer than building.
Where an implementation gets stuck
- The process has no boundary. Starting with the whole administration delivers nothing. One process at a time.
- There is no baseline. Without a number up front you cannot show afterwards that anything improved.
- Nobody owns it. A workflow without an owner stalls at the first exception.
- The examples are missing. A model learns your work from your own cases, never from a description of them.
- The approval step is missing. Sooner or later something leaves the building that nobody read.
When you should not start
If the work differs every time and has no recognisable route, an implementation returns nothing. The same applies when volume is too low: at a handful of cases per month you never earn the build back, however good the workflow gets. And if your software package can already do it, switch that on first. Exact, AFAS, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace all ship built-in AI features you do not have to pay anyone to build. What sits inside your package is listed on the software page.
There is one more reason to wait: someone inside your company who can do this and enjoys it. That person builds it cheaper than I do and knows the work better. Use the free AI plan to choose a first task. One process with AI includes the build; separate training or advice is agreed individually.
Where to begin
Not with a tool and not with a quote. With one process that comes back every week and that somebody in your company is tired of. Measure what it costs today in time and errors, then calculate what it is worth at half the speed. If no convincing amount comes out, the answer is no, and that is a perfectly good outcome. The calculator does that sum and the free process check tells you in seven questions whether the process qualifies. After that, the full route sits on how it works and the price build-up on the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
What does an AI implementation project cost for a small or medium business?
At Tamboer AI 1,500 euro excluding VAT for one process, covering review, build, testing and handover. The AI Operating System for your whole business costs 4,500 euro. You pay half at the start and half at delivery. The AI plan beforehand is free and the 1,500 euro for one process is fully credited if you move on to the AI Operating System within 30 days.
How long does an AI implementation take?
Ten working days for one process and three weeks for the whole AI Operating System, from the agreed start and receipt of the required information. Supplying examples and access decides whether those three weeks stay three weeks.
Do I have to run an audit first?
No. Choose One process with AI or the AI Operating System. Analysis, build, testing and training are included; a separate audit beforehand is not required.
What happens after the implementation?
Your team works with it and you own it. Support is optional and costs 125 euro per hour with a ceiling agreed up front: queue, retries, alerts, a monthly error review and a test after every change.
